Seeking info on Manning Mill located in Paulding County during Civil War era. Was this mill destroyed by Sherman's troops? Was this mill located on

Grandfather was Guy Edward Bone (died 1989 in Floyd County) Great Grandfather was Grover Cleveland Bone from Paulding County Area (but buried in College Park Cemetary). Searching for the FAMILY OF JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON, born 1827 in SOUTH CAROLINA, came to GEORGIA around 1830 or 1840, married CHARLOTTA ELIZABETH WEATHERFORD(WEATHERBY) around 1849 in CARROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA.
JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON and CHARLOTTA ELIZABETH WEATHERFORD(WEATHERBY) is first found on the 1850 COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA CENSUS is first found with EDWARD DUKE and his WIFE MARGARETT WALDROP DUKE and their children showing JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON as head of household.

The CHILDREN of EDWARD DUKE and MARGARETT WALDROP DUKE are: SARAH DUKE, born around 1827, WILEY DUKE, born 1833, JAMES DUKE, born 1836, JOHN DUKE, born 1839, MARION DUKE, born 1841, SIMON DUKE, born 1834, also included in the census was a MATILDA STRICKLAND.

Sometime after 1850, JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON and CHARLOTTA ELIZABETH CLINTON moved to PAULDING COUNTY.

All of these children were born in PAULDING COUNTY, GEORGIA.

JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON was in the PAULDING COUNTY VOLUNTEERS during the CIVIL WAR. He died 1901 in HARALSON COUNTY, GEORGIA. Have extensive information on this line up to 1827 on JAMES SAMUEL CLINTON and up to 1833 on CHARLOTTA ELIZABETH WEATERFORD(WEATHERBY).
