Dunnaho - Colquett

Oglethorpe County) This indenture made and entered into this 2nd
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and thirty eight between James Dunnaho of the one part and Joseph
Colquett of the other part both of the County and State aforesaid
Witnesseth that said James Dunnaho for and in consideration of the
sum of Eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath bargained sold and delivered and do by these presents
sell and deliver to the said Joseph Colquett all that tract or parcel
of land situate being and lying in the county and State aforesaid
lying on the waters of Indian Creek and bounded as follows beginning
at a red oak corner on Robertsons line running S 0 W 52 to a Spanish
oak thence to the Danielsville Road thence along said Road as far
as said Dunnahos land extends thence to a pine cover thence south
to the beginning corner containing one hundred and fifty acres be
the same more or less to have and to hold the said tract or parcel
of land and premises to him the said Joseph E. Colquett his heirs
and assigns for ever in fee simple and the said James Dunnaho doth
agree to warrant and defend the said tract of land premises to him
the said Joseph E. Colquett his heirs and assigns forever and said
Dunnaho himself his heirs and assigns free from the claim rights
titles and demands of the said James Dunnahoe his heirs and assigns
or any other person or persons whatever is witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this day and year above
written.
