We are looking for information on how the Confederate Troops were organized.  It seems that some officers (Commissioned and non-commissioned) were elected, while others were appointed.  Can you help with this information?  Please contact us if you can.  We have also noticed that alot of the names that we find match names of persons on other Liberty County lists.  While we are not in a position to determine whether or not these people are one in the same, if you have questions, it is best to assume that they are NOT the same person, but leave open the possibility that they are.  Please do not ask us, as we are not in or from Liberty County and have no way of knowing this, nor do we have access to information other than that found on the site.
