First, please submit your surnames through the Lamar
County Message Boards. All Message Boards have been combined
and now include both Ancestry and Rootsweb boards.
On your first login, be sure to use the name you want to appear on your
messages, and make a note of your password! You can submit a query,
family Bible information, an obituary, etc. Your submissions will
be searchable in several different ways. Submitting your
own interests is a surefire way to be reached by other researchers who
are interested in the same surnames, either locally or internationally.
Second, please send me your name, your e-mail address, and your
family surnames or specific research interest, along with your web page
address (if you have one). I'll post the information here for
other researchers to see. Please include "Lamar County Surnames"
in the e-mail subject line if your email program does not automatically
