lieutenant June 28, 1862; transferred to Co. B, 4th Battalion, Georgia
Sharpshooters, as 1st lieutenant May 4, 1863; to Co. C, same battalion and
elected captain, May 5, 1863; wounded Chickamauga, Ga., Sept. 19, 1863;
captured Nashville, Tenn., Dec. 16, 1864; released Johnson’s Island, O., prison
June 17, 1865.
