*Antioch School - Was 5 miles east to Litentie. 1918: Teacher - Mrs. Virgina Cawthon, nine months school year, one teacher, eight grades, enrollment 26.
*Avant School- Was four miles east to Union Hill, 5 miles southwest to Round Oak. 1918 - Teacher Miss Mamie Waits, nine months school year, one teacher, six grades, enrollment 16 
Blountsville Academy -Incorporated 1833. Trustees: Daniel Malone, Allen Green, John Drury, William D. Ethridge, Jeremiah W. Stokes, Francis Tufts, and John W. Gordon.  1835 John W. G. Smith in place of John W. Gordon. 
*Bluff Springs-  Was 2 miles west of Griswoldville, 5 miles nourth county-line; five miles east to Irwin's Crossing.  1918: Teacher Miss Annie Mae Dixon. nine months school year, one teacher, eight grades, enrollment 25 
*Bradley- Was on Cof GA RR, 3 1/2 miles south to Grays, 3 1/2 miles northwest to Wayside. 1918 - Teachers: A. B. Greene, Principal, Mrs. A. B. Greene, Miss Mabel Roberts. Nine months school year, three teachers, eleven grades, enrollment 51
*Burdens- Was 5 miles northwest to Roberts, 5 miles west to Bluff Springs. 1918 - Teachers: Mr. T. E. Farmer, Miss Marie Roberts. Nine months school year, two teachers, eight grades, enrollment 55
*Caney Creek- Was 6 miles east to Round Oak.  1918 - Teacher Miss Willie Tyner. Nine months school year, one teacher, seven grades, enrollment 50
Clinton Academy -Commissioners 1821 - James Smith, Gustavus Hendrick, Samuel Lowther, Charles J. McDonald, Henry G, Lamar.
Trustess 1832: James Smith, Esq., Gen. Wm. Flewellan. Dr/ W. B. Stephens, Dr. Horation Bowen, James Gray, Esq. Burned by Sherman's troops in November 1864. The lot and  academy built there after the war was sold in a sheriff's sale in 1871 in favor of Hearndon Patterson estate.

*Cobb School- Was 3 miles southwest to Burden; four miles north to James. 1918: Teacher Miss Hattie James, nine months school year, one teacher, seven grades, enrollment 27
*Etheridge- Was 6 miles west to Union Hill 1918- Teacher Miss Lilla Odum, nine months school year, one teacher, six grades, enrollment 22
 Flat Shoal Academy - Incorporated 1826, Trustees Abner [Illegible Text] [Illegible Text] Cox, Peter Northern, Ichabod Cox, and Joshua B. Bateman,  Was near Commissioner's Creek on Hwy. 49. Cemetery/Old Church
Fortville Academy - Incorporated 1822. Trustees:  Robert Hutchings, John W. Gordon, Thomas Jefferson, William Harris, and Robert Brown. Professor Eugene Keenan 1821. 30'x50' "Meeting House" built in 1824
*Glovers' School- Was at Juliette Station, Southern Railway, Near Monroe County line, two and a half miles south to Saunders School 1918 teachers - Miss Hattie Mann, Miss Susie Russell. Nine months school year, two teachers, eight grades, enrollment 50
Jones County Academy. Commissioners 1810 Abner Biddle, Thomas White, Reuben Cole, David White, Wormley Rose; 
Farmers Academy name changed to Planter's Academy in 1823. Was located at Hwy 11, at Wayside.  Incorporated 1822: Trustees: Bailey Bell, Adam Carson, Kinchen P. Thweatt, James Locket, Cyrus Cotten, Samuel Barron, and William Cowen. Trustees 1833: William A. Cowan, Joseph J. Chappel, Reuben A. Nash, James G. Wall, and Champion Butler. The school was burned by Sherman's army in November 1864. The new academy building sold in 1866 to the highest bidder. Historical marker.

*Haddock (A Standard School)- Was  On Georgia Railroad. 1918 - Teachers: J. N. Wagnon, Principal, Miss Fidelle Miller, Mrs. Mamie Griswold. Nine months, three teachers, ten grades, enrollment 67

*Roberts - Was 4 miles northwest to Lite n' Tie, four miles east to Griswoldville. Teacher Miss Elmore Williams, nine months school year, one teacher, eight grades, enrollment 30
*Round Oak- Was On central of Ga. RR, 3 1/2 miles south to Wayside. 1918 - Teachers: L. C. Kimsey, Principal, Miss Emma King, Miss Carrie White, Assistants. Nine months school year, three teachers, ten grades, enrollment 58
Spring Bluff - was "about eight miles from Macon in the lower corner of Jones county. The Kitchens family lived here. Macon Telegraph July 11, 1915 
*Saunders- Was 2 1/2 miles north to Glovers. 1918- Teacher Miss Amanda Mitchell, nine months school year, one teacher, six grades, enrollment 16
*Three Points- Five miles to nearest school. 1918 - Teacher Miss Earle Humphries, nine months school year, one teach, five grades, enrollment 23
Union Hill Academy- Incorporated 1822, Trustees: James Anderson, James F. White, John Gardner, John J. Hightower, William Willis, J. C. W. Lindsey and Lunsford Pitts,
Union Hill Male and Female Academy - Incorporated 1833, Trustees: Hugh F. Rose, Henry Hunter, William Barron, Alexander Odin, Joseph Day, Nathaniel G. Slaughter and John Gay.  Rezen Buckner was Secretary of the Trustees in 1848.
*Union Hill- Was on the Putnam county line; 3 1/2 miles to nearest school in Jones, 6 miles to nearest school in Putnam. 1918 Teacher - Miss Lollie Johnson, nine months school year, one teacher, attempting 10 grades, enrollment 9 from Jones Co.
*Wallace- Was  4 miles south of Haddock. 1918: Teachers: Miss Blanche Burton, Principal, Miss Georgia Burton. Nine months school year, two teachers, nine grades, enrollment 47
*Wayside School- Was on central of Ga RR, 3 1/2 miles southeast of Bradley, 3 1.2 miles north to Round Oak. 1918: Teachers, Mrs. M. T. Green, Principal, Miss Alice Young, Assistant. Nine months school year, two teachers, ten grades, 49 enrolled
