"Family Bible of Henry Oscar Sikes and Carrie Priscilla Evans"

 Henry Oscar Sikes (Oscar) was born Sept.9,1872. He married Carrie Priscilla Evans, on May 12, 1895, in Jackson County, Ga. She was born May 12,1877, in  Lumpkin County, Ga. Children of Henry Oscar Sikes and Carrie Priscilla Evans are: 
1. Gollie Marie Sikes was born Sept.7,1897, in Hoschton, Ga., Jackson County. 
2. Grace Emeline Sikes was born April 24,1902, in Hoschton Ga., Jackson County. 
3. Sarah Ann Hayes was born June 4,1912, in Hoschton Ga., Jackson County.
4. Mary Ruth Sikes was born June 1914, Hoschton, Ga., Jackson County, died July 1914.  _______________________________________________________________________________ 

Note:  Henry Oscar Sikes (Oscar), died in Feb. 1948, in East Point, Ga. Fulton County.  He married  Neely Virginia Bailey, born in Jackson County, Ga. after wife Carrie Priscilla Sikes' death in 1914.  He and 2nd  wife Neely Virginia Bailey are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point, Ga., Fulton County.  


1. Gollie Marie Sikes died July 12, 1993 buried, beside 2nd  husband, Homer Roy Norton,  in College Park Cemetery, College Park, Ga. Fulton County.  Gollie Marie Sikes, married Thomas Love Moon, born Aug 18,1895, in Hoschton, Ga. Jackson County. They married about 1915, in Jackson County, Ga. their children were Mildred Marie Moon, Thomas William Moon, Wilbur Horace Moon, and Charles Samuel Moon  (Wilbur and Charles changed their last names to their stepfather's, Norton.

 2. Grace Emeline Sikes married Roy David Holland from Jackson County, Ga.; she died March 19,1993, in Jackson County, Ga. They are buried in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Children:  William, Isabelle and Miriam 

3. Sarah Ann Sikes married Verlin D. Hayes, born in Hall County, Ga. They are buried in Holly Hill Cemetery, in Fairburn, Ga., Fulton County.  Children:  Lowell Allen, Thoyce and Betty Jo  

4. Mary Ruth Sikes, June1914-July1914 buried beside mother Carrie Priscilla, in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson County, Ga. ,(Carrie Priscilla, died about a week after childbirth, the baby died soon after)
