                     MRS. T. A. SHAW DEAD

  On Monday at midnight, after an illness of long duration, the spirit of Mrs. T. A. Shaw took its flight to the God who gave it. 

  Mrs. Shaw was the wife of our fellow-townsman, Mr. T. A. Shaw, and besides a husband, she leaves four children, Messrs. W. B., George and Henry, and Miss Minnie, to all of whom we extend our sympathy. 

  She was a member of the Baptist church, and for years had lived a consecrated life.  her body was laid to rest on Tuesday afternoon at the Academy burial ground, Rev. J. S. Hartsfield conducting the ceremony.
