Services Held Today

 

Mrs. Georgia Segars, 80, one of Jackson county’s best known and most beloved citizens, died at her home on the Jefferson road last night after an illness of several months duration.

 

Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Red Stone church at 3 o’clock, with Rev. J. D. Cash officiating.  Interment was in Crooked Creek cemetery, Bernstein’s funeral home in charge.

 

Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Mrs. John Moore, Mrs. Earnest Damron, Miss Lovie Segars, Mrs. E. M. Stancel; five sons, H. H. Segars, White Plains, John Segars, Jefferson; Carl Segars, Akron, Ohio; Harvey Segars, Akron, and Marion Sears, Akron.
