  Mr. Alsa Roberts's wife died last Friday and was buried at the old Academy burying ground Saturday. For __ long months her life has been slowly ebbing away with that dreadful disease, consumption.  As she would look up and see the face of the devoted husband bending over her and see her little children gathered about her bed, no doubt the thoughts of the eternal departure from them would for a moment cause her to desire to stay, but when she thought of the Blessed Father and Comforter she surrendered to His will with perfect submission.  Last Friday morning she obeyed his summons to come to that land of eternal bliss beyond the skies.
