               Miss Sallie Roberts

  On Sunday at the home of Mr. W. C. Roberts,
another beloved lady answered the call to come
higher, and another spirit went to bask in the
beautiful light of another world.  Miss Sallie
Roberts was 63 years of age, and was member
of one of the prominent families of the county.
She was reared near the Academy, but for the
past few years made her home with her only
brother, Mr. W. C. Roberts.  Her death 
followed a sickness of several months, and
although not unexpected, brought much sorrow
to family and friends.  Her body was laid to
rest at the Academy church burial ground on
Monday morning.
