Mr. W. A. Pinson Dead
After being confined to his home with bright’s disease for several weeks, Mr. W. A. Pinson departed this life last Monday, and was buried in Woodbine cemetery Tuesday. Rev. F. L. Ward conducted the burial service. He was 76 years old at the time of his death. He was born and reared in this county, and never lived any where else except during the four years he served in the Confederate army, where he made one of the most gallant soldiers that ever bared a breast to bullets and swords. While serving as a soldier he was severely wounded in the jaw. He was a consistent member of the Baptist church. He was a true citizen, a faithful and loving husband, and a kind father.
