                         Mr. Mealor

     Tom C. Mealor, 79, of Commerce died Monday in a local hospital.  he was born in Franklin county and was a member of the Commerce First United Methodist Church.  Survivors include his widow: Mrs. Ruby Banks Mealor, three children: Mrs. Thomas Nichols of Sherman, Tex, Mrs. Joe Senn of Anderson, SC and Mrs. J. H. Carlan of Athens, three brothers: Plumer, Herbert and Moody Mealor all of Commerce, three sisters:  Mrs. J. P. Ganley, Mrs. J. W. Ingram, Sr. and Mrs. Dolph Dobbs of Royston. 

     Funeral Services were to have been today (Wednesday) at 2 pm at the Tommie Conn Memorial Chapel.  The Rev. Julian Brackman was to have officiated.  Burial was to have been in Gray Hill Cemetery.
