Mr. Kitchens

Fred Kitchens, 66 of McArthur St. in Commerce died at his home Friday,
Sept. 5, following an extended illness.  Services were held Sunday, Sept.7,
1975 at Madison St. Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ed Aiken officiating.
Interment was in Grey Hill Cemetery.

A native of Jackson County, Mr. Kitchens was born June 30, 1909, son of
the late Sam and Josephine Bellanger Kitchens.  He was a member of
Madison Street Baptist Church. 

Surviving are widow, Geraldine Marlow Kitchens of the home; a son Robert
Kitchens of Brunswick, Ohio; a brother, Lonnie Kitchens of Commerce;
two sisters, Mrs. Dewey Crane of Brunswick Ohio; Mrs. Lillian Evans of
Decatur; and two grandchildren.  Ivie Funeral Home was in charge.
