                            Mr. Huff

     John Huff, 96, of Route 1 Commerce died Friday, July 21 at BJC Hospital following an extended illness.  Services were held Monday, July 24 at Jones Chapel where he was a member with the Rev. Joseph Sims officiating and interment in the church cemetery.
     A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Huff was born on March 25, 1882 a son of the late Jim and Melina Bolton Huff. 
     Surviving are two daughters:  Sweetie Westbrooks of Commerce and Maggie Woods of Chattanooga, Tenn., Sons:  Lozie Huff and C. J. Huff, both of Commerce, brothers:  James b. Huff and Ozie Huff, both of Atlanta, sisters:  Leonia Johnson of Decatur and Adia Starks, Atlanta, 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
     Johnstown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
