Miss Georgia Ann Taylor Cox, daughter of Eldred C and Melissa A M Cox, was born November 11^th, 1847, and died in Jackson county, January 13^th, 1863.

Through cut off in the morning of life, she had learned to walk in the path of duty. Her disposition was amiable and kind to all, and she was especially distinguished by obedience and respect towards her parents. Her surviving friends are consoled by her testimony during a long sickness, that she trusted in Jesus and was not afraid to die; and though she is gone from the earth, she still speaks to them, in the memory of her earnest and affectionate appeals that they should prepare to meet her in Heaven.
