    Ila “Marelle” Allen, 80, of Winder, died Friday, March 25, 2005.

  Born in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Susie Barnette Stancil. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church of Jefferson. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Allen.

  Survivors include a son, Stanley Allen, Winder; daughter, Teresa Maningding, Reidsville; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Susie Bledsoe and Genevive Maloch, both of Loganville.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, March 26, at the Center United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Banks officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

  Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
