MR. ALLEN        Truck Driver

BRASELTON - Douglas Michael Allen, 45, died Saturday, July 15, 2000.  Born in
Barrow County, Mr. Allen was a son of the late Woodrow Allen and Gay Nell Jones. 
He was employed as a truck driver, owning and operating his own truck and was of
Baptist denomination. 

Services were held July 18, in the chapel of Wise-Connolly Funeral Home, Winder,
with the Rev. Clinton Gooch officiating.  Jeff Smallwood, Keith Jenkins, Joey Allen,
Dwight Helton, Derek Greson and Johnathon Allen served as pallbearers.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Merita Kay Dale; three daughters, Jackie Allen,
Brandy Bradford and Kimberly Allen; one son, Justin Dale; five brothers, G. W.
Allen, Johnny Allen, Darrell Allen and Billy Allen, all of Auburn and Tony Allen,
Statham; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Wise-Connolly Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
