His brothers were Capt. Dilmus Lyle Jarrett and Pvt. Nathaniel Martin Jarrett

Frances Ann Lyle, b. 6 Apr 1802, d. 25 Jan 1891
married Nathaniel Coats Jarrett, b. 17 June, 1792, d. 30 Nov 1849.
They were the parents of 12 children, including James Anderson Jarrett,
Capt. Dilmus Lyle Jarrett who was killed at Second Manassas
and Nathaniel Martin Jarrett who died at Dumfries, VA of pneumonia.
