Ron Head Wed Jun 11 13:31:27 1997 Seeking
information on ancestry and/or siblings of James S. KING and Mary CASTELOW who married
in Newton Co., GA in 1841. Are they the James and M.A. KING in 1850 Henry Co., GA
census? If so, they moved to Randolph Co., AL by 1853, James died between 1853 and
1860, and Mary A. and several children moved from Randolph to Crenshaw Co., AL between
1860 and 1870. All communication on these families will be welcomed!

H. Nackman Fri Jun 6 20:20:11 1997 I am looking for information on my great(x3)
grandparents, James M. BLEDSOE and Mary BERRY BLEDSOE, married in Butts County 6/13/1833.
I would like to know when either died and in what county. I am also trying to identify
Mary's parents. I believe she came to Georgia with her family as a child from South
Carolina. I know that her brother (there may have been others) was John V. BERRY
and her sisters included Charlotte Elizabeth DENNIS, Harriet HARKNESS, Julia M.
PRICE, and Martha NORRIS. If anyone has any information regarding the BERRY family
in the Butts County or surrounding county area, I would be most appreciative. Thank
you.

Hunter Fri Jun 6 19:41:06 1997 My g-grandmother was MARTHA J. McCLENDON
(McLENDON) who married ZACHARIAH S. RAY about 1845. I think she was born approximately
1826, probably in Henry County, Georgia. I would like to find out who her parents
were. In my reseach I think I have found that her father was HENRY MCCLENDON (born
c-1788) and that her mother was Emily (maiden name unknown, born c- 1803), and that
Henry's father was SAMUEL MCCLENDON born c-1755, but I still don't have the proof
I need to back this up. I do know that MARTHA J. AND ZACHARIAH S. RAY had 13-children
and I know their names, & I know they moved to Bell Co., Texas sometime between
1870 & 1880. I also know that Henry and Emily McClendon had at least 6-children
and their names were Martha J., Henry, John, Samuel, Beniah, Abram. Any help will
certainly be appreciated!
