39 P.L. "Chris"
Christian Jr. I am looking for Edmund Green, wife unknown, and William B.
Christian, wife is Susan M. (Robinson) Christian. She and her brother James C. Robinson
were schooltheachers from Washington Co.,NY, they came down about 1856-57. James
served in the CW, which side not known yet. In Newtown Co, I am looking for James
Hamilton Christian, who married Mary Ann Lorena Jack Green(daughter of Edmund Green)
in 1856. James father was Elijah Willis Christian, wife Mary C. Christian are buried
either in one of these counties or Clayton. I would like to find the buriel places
of Edmund Green and wife, Elijah Willis Christian and wife. They are my great-great-grandparents.
Edmund as the story goes, helped to build the first brick courthouse in Henry County.
The farm where my grandfather was born on had part of the Battle of Altantia fought
over it. Several Union soldiers died in the house and was buried on the farm, years
later the Gov. came and transferred the bodies to a cemetery. I am related to nearly
every Christian in the area, I believe. Just wish I could come over and spend time
to do my research first hand. In June, 1971, while visiting my parents with my family,
I asked my father his grandfathers name. He did not know, so I have been looking
every since. I have gone from Tx.,to Ala.,GA.,SC.,NC.,Va. to Maryland. Could go
on and on. If I have left anything out let me know.

in Fort Worth, Texas We have recent confirmation by photographs of the gravesites
of Sarah Wright Jarrett and three of her daughters at Mt Carmel Cemetery. The daughters
are Sarah Ann (Jarrett) Tidwell and husband Henry Tidwell, M(ary) Susan (Jarrett)
Strickland, and F. Catherine (Kitty) Jarrett. There are two gravesites without headstones
between the Tidwells and Sarah Wright Jarrett. It is our speculation that these
may be those of Ralph Raford Jarrett, husband of Sarah Wright Jarrett, and their
son Nathan Jarrett who died at an early age.We have quite a bit of information on
the ancestors of both Sarah Wright and Ralph Jarrett. We would like to make contact
with the descendants of the above daughters. They also had a son, Peter Jarrett,
and one other daughter Jane, who married Colden Johnson. I cannot remember others
at this time.
