Looking for information of the JINKS Family of Locust Grove in Henry County. Husband's great grandfather was Joseph Oscar Jinks also known as George born 29 Sept 1878. He left Locust Grove for St.Louis Missouri where he married Minnie Bergmann in 1901. We think he was born from the first marriage of Moses Adoniram "Don" JINKS married to Sally THOMPSON. He had only one known brother Noland "Noel" Jinks. Sally Thompson his mother possible died in a fire. "Don"Jinks second marriage was to Avery Evelene HARKNESS b 7-22-1869 d 2-1946, buried Locust Grove Baptist Church, m 9-6-1894 Moses Adoniram Jinks, b 8-12-1852,d 11-7-1933 buried Jinks Family Cem. They had children Lavenia Elizabeth (Lizzie), Vera ,Clomer Adoniram (Joe) Thomas "Tommy" Franklin. Mother-in-law visted there in the thirties. Have many family photos that we can not identify. She remember some of them worked at a rubber factory and recalls someone called Aunt Pink, and Clomer Jinks was a champion Banjo player. Seeking parents of Moses Adoriram

seeking information on Colville ABERCROMBIE, b. Oct. 4, 1762. d. Aug. 26, 1838 in Henry Co. married Mary LINDLEY abt 1784. Apparently, he's buried in Laurens Co., SC, but his will is not on file there. It may have been filed in Henry Co. I have his descendants, including line of son James, my 4th ggrandfather. Especially interested in when he moved to Henry co, if any children came with him, etc.
