ADAIR posted by Alice Jones on Thursday, November 15, 2001: Looking for record of Jessie Lloyd Head Adair(1859-1935). He supposedly moved in with siblings in Henry County after death of his father, William Head Pearson Adair, in Meriwether County in 1870. Next record found so far is in 1884 when he marries in Worth County, GA. After he moved, he never returned to visit family, did not want family to visit him. Speculation is that he got into trouble and moved.

BOWDEN, WALDEN, WHITE posted by Sharon Hunt on Thursday, November 22, 2001: Any info available on Benjamin Walden (married to Nettie Bowden) will be appreciated. He was born somewhere in Alabama and buried at Bethel cemetary in the Fairview Community of Henry County (north). Daughter was my grandmother Martha LaVada Walden, m. B. Y. White of Henry County.

He is listed in the 1850 Henry Co., Census with Nancy Bishop, age 49, and Charles H. and Elisha A. Bishop. Also listed in Henry Co., 1850 is his sister, Arrena Athenile Bishop King, wife of John Wade King. Missing are at least one brother, Ephraim, b. ca 1826, and his father.
