Abraham Shepherd married Sara Lovejoy on 1823, in Jasper County. They lived in what is now the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center, Clybel Farms. They lived almost on the Newton County line. I believe his brother William L. Shepherd lived in Newton County. Does anyone know anything about this Shepherd line?

I am looking for information on my GG Grandparents. They are both from Henry County, Ga. My GG Grandfather was. WILLIAM ANDREW BOWDEN. He was born: 1846 in Henry Co. I believe his Father was A.J. BOWDEN. It shows in the 1850 Census an A J BOWDEN, wife M.A. BOWDEN, and it shows W.A. BOWDEN as 4 years old. That would be the same time period that he was born. dOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS FAMILY?? W A BOWDEN married MARGURETTE ELIZABETH BURK.
