Looking for info on Burgess DANIEL and his wife Catherine, maiden name unknown. They were both born in 1804, and were shown living in Fayette Co. GA, in 1830, Henry Co. in 1940, Dekalb Co. in 1850 and Polk Co. in 1860. In 1860, children and ages listed were; Jesse, 17; Mary E., 12; Marthena, 9; William, 7; and James E. or K., 4. James married Harriet GRUBBS Oct. 6, 1867, in Cleburne Co., AL. She was the daughter of William Wiley and Malinda HOWELL GRUBBS. Malinda's parents in AL were John (War of 1812 vet.) and Elizabeth HOWELL.

Looking for any information regarding LOUIS MAXIE JONES originally from Darlington/Williamsburg District, SC. My paternal grandfather, ALEXANDER CALVIN "ALEC" JONES was his brother. This "limb of family tree had left SC [reportedly] to Lake Wales, Florida to Hampton, GA. Obituary of my grandfather[1946] states Louis was in Hampton, Ga. My father's name is Frank MAXIE Jones; Louis Maxie is from whom he got his middle name. I have considerable genealogical data on JONES family.

My ggg grandparents were married in Henry County, Georgia. George W. Hill and Margaret Moore. He was the son of Enoch Hill, who lived in Henry County for several years and then moved to Meriwether County, Georgia, where he lived until his death. I need the names of the parents of Margaret Moore. I understand there were a number of Moores in Henry County. I just can't place her in one. Please help.
