I have found records in Henry County for several Manly families that I think might be related. Is anyone else researching this name? I find Abner, Joseph and John Manly in the 1820 and 1830 census records. If this is the correct family, many of them migrated in to Pike County in the 1830's. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have any dates for him , although , I know he was married to a Martha Ellen Conkle (B. 5/23/1855 D. 9/17/1886). I also know of one child they had (Amazal Madison Mitchell) but I suspect they had more. Martha was buried in the Conkle Family Cemetery with her family but there was no sign of John A Mitchell. MOORE	Barbara Schulz	17 Aug 2009	I have exhausted most sources for proofs of Isaac Moore and Nancy Wyatt Moores children. I quote Pendleys book :Wm Bishop and Allied families, but the book cited no proofs so not acceptable to lineage society. My next step is to research all the known children for their information and deaths, where buried, obituaries anything that might show parents. Issac Moore died between 1854-1857 i believe in Fayette co. They lived in Henry for years. Does anyone have any records on the following: Hilliard Judge Moore b 1812 m in Henry co 1833 to Georgia McRight He was a Judge in Henry co and was murdered Oct 1880; Sanford W Moore b 1810 m Mary Ann Fuller. He was station keeper for Macon & Western Railway; Elizabeth S Moore b 1813 married Constantine Dodson; Mahaly Moore b 1809 married Elijah Dodson; HAMPTON K MOORE b 1823 m Eliza Belcher he died in Randolph co AL (this is mine); Augustus L Moore b 1824; Norman B Moore b 1827 married Polly A Moore (he on 1850 census with Isaac and Nancy in Fayette co.

RAY	Ross Smith [email protected]	21 Aug 2006	The orphans of Solomon Ray and their mother Jane Ray Farrow lived in Henry co Ga in the 1820's. Elijah Ray9one of Solomon Ray's orphans) and his mother Jane Ray Farrow signed a deed in 1823 selling Solomon Ray's Clarke co Ga land and the deed said they were living in Henry co Ga. What is confusing is the orphans of Solomon Ray won land in the 1821 Georgia land lottery in Fayette co Ga and when DeKalb co Ga was formed in 1822 the location of their land was then in DeKalb co and in 1828 when Campbell co Ga was formed their land was then in Campbell co Ga. Could someone tell me why they would be in Henry co in 1823 when the deed was signed but their land was just to the northwest in DeKalb co Ga? If anyone has any resources that would show the orphans of Solomon Ray and their mother Jane Ray Farrow living in Henry co Ga in the 1820's such as tax records or deeds please email me
