             This Indenture made & concluded upon this twentyth day of January Eighteen Hundred & Twenty Seven Between Kincheon Bohannan of said state & county of the one part and Thomas Ellis of Henry County and state afore said of the other part

             Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said  Kincheon Bohannan at and before the signing of these presents the receipt  of which is here by acknowledged have this day bargained sold granted  and released and by these presents do bargain sell grant and release unto the said Kinchen Bohahnan his heirs Executors  administrators assigns all that lot or tract of land containing two hundred two & a half acres situate lying & being in the fourth district of Henry at the time of surveying now Fayette  County & State aforesaid which tract or lot of land is known & distinguished  in the plan of said district by the number Thirty five beginning at a red oak running north 45 chains to a pin thence East 45 chains to a red oak thence South 45 chains to a post oak stake thence west 45 chains to the beginning to have and to hold the said tract or lot of land together with all & singular the rites and appertimances there unto belonging unto him the said Kincheon  Bohannan his heirs Executors administrators or assigns for ever in fee simple And I the said Thomas Ellis for my self my heirs or assigns do warrant & forever defend this right & title of the above named premises against the claim or claims of my self my heirs or assigns & the claim of all other persons what so ever unto him the said Kincheon  his heirs or assigns

This Indenture the fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three between John A. Ellis of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and Lazarus Summerlin of the County of Clarke and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that John A. Ellis for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Lazarus Summerlin his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Henry and State aforesaid in the eighth district of said County known by number two hundred and twenty three and the South fork of the Oakmulgee River containing two hundred and two and a half acres more or less and granted to John A. Ellis on the 4th Feby 1823 to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Lazarus Summerlin his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said John A. Ellis for himself
his heirs executors administrators and assigns the said bargained premises unto the said Lazarus Summerlin his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all and every other person or persons whatsoever. Thomas Ellis to James Beasley

Written: April 20, 1847

This indenture made and entered into this 20th day of April in the year of or Lord Eighteen hundred & forty seven between Thomas Ellis of the one part and James Beasley of the other part both of the County & State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Thomas Ellis for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing & delivering of  these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained and sold and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said James Beasley his heirs and assigns a parcel of land situate laying and being in the third district of the said county of Henry and said State, known in the plan of said district by the number (92) ninety two, commencing at the North East corner of said lot thence running West along the original line to a spring branch thence down said spring branch to the creek thence up said creek to the original line thence North along the original line to the original N.E. Corner containing Ten acres be the same more or less with all rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the aforesaid described piece of land unto him the said James Beasley his heirs & assigns together with all the rights members & appurtenances to the said piece of land in any wise belonging to his and their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple- and the said Thos. Ellis for himself his heirs Executors & administrators the said bargained premises together with the rite title and possession thereof unto the said James Beasley his heirs and assigns will warrant & forever defend the rite and title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever. This indenture made and entered into this the 27th day of October AD 1859 between Thomas Ellis of the one part and Radford Ellis of the other part both of the County and State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Thomas Ellis for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Randolph Ellis at and before the sealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed and doth be these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Randolph Ellis his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land known and distinguished by lot no. (101) one hundred and one in the third district of originally Henry now Spalding County it being ten acres on the south west corner of said lot bounded by Short Step Creek on the east being the
line between said land and Wm S. Heronton it being ten acres more or less to have and to hold said described parcel of land with all and singular to the said Radford Ellis his heirs and assigns together with all the rights members and appurtenances to the same or in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Thomas J.

This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty between George Lewis of the County & State aforesaid of the one part & John A. Ellis of the County of Oglethorpe &c State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said George Lewis hath this day made &c delivered to the said John A. Ellis the certain promissory note subscribed with his hand and bearing even date with these presents thereby the said George
Lewis hath promised to pay the said John A. Ellis or bearrer one hundred & twenty three dollars & twenty five cents on or before the twenty fifth day of December next ensuring the date hereof for value received now for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars by the said John A. Ellis to said George Lewis in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged as well as for the better securing the payment of the aforesaid
promissory note the said George Lewis hath granted bargained & sold do by these presents grant bargain & sell unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the State aforesaid & County of Henry known & distinguished by Lot No. ninety one in the second district containing two hundred two & a half acres more or less having such other shape or landmarks as will appear by a plat of the same. To have & to
hold said lot or parcel of land unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs and assigns to his & their own proper use benefit & behoof in fee simple forever & the said George Lewis for himself his heirs executors administrators &c will unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs & assigns & forever defend the right & title thereof from themselves & from all other person or persons Whatever
provided Nevertheless that if the said George Lewis his heirs & assigns shall & do well & Truly pay & cause to be pay(d) unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs & assigns the above mentioned sum of one hundred & twenty three dollars & twenty four cents on the day & time mentioned & appointed for pay thereof the said same promissory note mentioned with lawful interest for the same according to the Tenor of said note then and from thencefourth as well this presents
indicates & the right to the property thereby con’d. as said promissory note shall cease determine & be void to all intents & porposses. In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this day & year above written.
