This indenture made the second day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand and twenty three between Archibald Bachellor of the county of Jones and state aforesaid of the one part and John A. Ellis of the county of Oglethorpe and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Archibald Bachellor for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presence the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presence doth grant bargained sold and conveyed unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Henry known and distinguished by lot no. two hundred and six in the second district of said county to have and to hold together with all and singular the rites member and appurtenances there unto belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Archibald Batchellor his executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend the right and title against the claim of themselves and against the claims of any other person or persons whatsoever In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand ad affixed my seal the day and year above written

Hillary Brooks to Willis Ellis

Written: January 24, 1828

STATE of GEORGIA
HENRY COUNTY

This indenture made the 24th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight between Hillary Brooks of the county of Henry and state aforesaid of the one part and Willis Ellis of the county of Henry and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Hillary Brooks for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred thirty seven dollars & fifty cents to him hand paid at or the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto the said Willis Ellis all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Henry known and distinguished by lot No. 162 in the third district one half of said lot all on the west side of a branch beginning at a red oak Andersons corner thence west to a pine thence north across said lot No. 162 then east to the said branch then up the meanders of said branch to the beginning corner to have and to hold together with all and singular the rites members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any manner whatsoever to his own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Hillery Brooks for himself will warrant and forever defend the right and title of said land above mentioned from the claims of himself and all other persons whatsoever In witness whereof the said Brooks hath hereunto set my hand and

William Dooly to J. A. Ellis
Written: March 6, 1837

Elbert County This indenture made and entered into this the sixth day of March One thousand eight hundred and thirty seven Between William Dooly of the aforesaid County and J.A. Ellis of Henry County both of the aforesaid state. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty five dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I William Dooly hath bargained sold released and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell
release and convey unto the said J. A. Ellis all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Henry and State aforesaid containing two hundred two and one half acres known and distinguished as lot number one hundred and ninety five (195) having such shapes and marks as will fully appear by a reference to the plat on the grant herewith transferred for him the said J.A. Ellis his heirs & assigns to have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises and all and singular the rights titles hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining forever in fee simple. And I the said William Dooly will bind myself my heirs and assigns forever warrant and defend the right and title to said land free from the lawful challenge or claim of myself or any other person or persons whomsoever so that the said J.A. Ellis his heirs and assigns shall forever be peaceably possessed of the same.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above. Signed sealed and delivered in presence of us.

William Everitt to William Ellis

This indenture made the sixth day of September in the ear of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty one between William Everitt of the county of Randolph of the one part and William Ellis of the County of Henry of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Everitt for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do these presence grant bargain sell and convey unto the said William Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in te county of Henry and known and distinguished by the No. ninety six (96) in the third district of the aforesaid county of Henry containing Two Hundred two and one half acres be
the same more or less. O have and to hold said Tract or parcel of land unto him the said William Ellis his heirs ans assigns together with all and singular the Rites members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to him and their own proper use benefit and behoof for ever in fee simple. And the said William Everitt for himself for his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said William Ellis his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and
against the claims of all other persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said William Everitt hath set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.

This indenture made this twenty fourth day of August eighteen hundred and thirty eight between U. M. Gelder of said county of one part and William Ellis of the county of Henry of the other part both of state aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Uriah M. Gelder for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto the said William Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract parcel or lot of land situate lying and being in the third district of Henry County known and distinguished in plan of said district by lot No. (64) sixty four. To have and to hold said bargained premises together with all and singular the rites members and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the said Uriah M Gelder for himself his heirs and
assigns doth agree to forever warrant and defend said bargained premises free from the claim or claims of each and every person or Persons whatsoever unto the said William Ellis his heirs &c in fee simple In testimony whereof the said U. John Harp to R. P. Ellis
Written: March 20, 1835

This indenture made and entered into this twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & thirty five between John Harp of the county & state aforesaid and R. P. Ellis of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Harp hath this day bargained & sold unto the said R. P. Ellis a certain parcel of land containing fifty acres it being part of lot No. sixty two (62) being in Henry county and 3rd district & state aforesaid beginning at
the north west corner of said lot in third district of Henry county thence east eleven chains & twenty links to a stake thence south forty five chains to a stake thence west eleven chains & twelve links to a stake thence north forty five chains to the beginning containing fifty acres more or less for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid before the
sealing and delivering of the presents and the said Harp do by these bind himself his heirs & assigns to warrant and defend the rights & title of said parcel of land & all appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said R. P. Ellis his heirs & assigns free from the claim or claims of all other person or persons whatsoever to have & to hold to there own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple In wittiness whereof I have here unto set my hand & seal the day and date above written. Ellis of the County of Oglethorpe of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Peter Smith for & in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted bargained & sold conveyed & confirmed and do by these presents grant bargain & sell & convey unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the County of Henry & State aforesaid known & distinguished by Lot No. one hundred and ninety one in the third district of said County bounded S by (192), N (190), E by (114), W by (102). To have & to hold said tract or parcel of land unto the said John A.
Ellis his heirs & assigns together with all & singular the rights members & appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging or in any wise to him and their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple & the said Peter Smith for himself his heirs executors and administrators & assigns the said bargained premises unto the said John A. Ellis his heirs & assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title hereof against the claims of himself his heirs executors & administrators and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & affix my seal the day & year above written.
