GEORGIA – Butts County

This indenture made this the 27th twenty seventy day of Oct. in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and sixty nine between Alfred L. Bankston of the one part and William E. Pullin of Henry County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Alfred L. Bankston for and in consideration of Twelve Hundred Dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto said William E. Pullin his heirs and assigns all that parcel
or tract of land. One half of lot of land in the first district of originally Henry now butts County known by the number of half lot of One Hundred and Seventy Five containing One Hundred One and fourth acres. With all the rights appurtenances thereon belonging to have and to hold the said described parcel of land with the said William E. Pullin his heirs and assigns administration or executors to his or their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee
simple against the claims or claims of any and all persons or persons whereof Alfred L. Bankston have this day set my hand and affixed my seal this 27th day of October eighteen Hundred and sixty nine.

Boling K. Bankston to William S. Blissit

Lot #81, 1st District
Written: November 13, 1845
Recorded: November 24, 1845

GEORGIA – Butts County

This indenture made this the thirteenth day of November eighteen hundred and
forty five between Boling K. Bankston of the one part and William S. Blissit of
the other part both of the County and State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the
said Boling K. Bankston for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and
seventy dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sale unto the
said William Blissit his heirs and assigns all the following described land, it
being a part of lot No. Eighty one in the first district of originally Henry,
now Butts County containing thirty five acres more or less and situated as
follows. Commencing on the line between lands now owned by Phinekus Kimbell
and the estate of James E. Bankston, deceased and running east fifty four rods,
then a south to this line between land now owned by David D. Bailey, thence
west along said line to the corner between the land owned by Phinekus Kimbell
and the estate of James E. Bankston, Desc. Thence north along said line to the
place first mentioned. To have and to hold said bargained promises together
with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the only
proper use benefits and behoof him the said William S. Blissit his heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple. And the said Boling K. Bankston his heirs and
assigns, will warrant and forever defend the premises hereby conveyed unto the
said William Blissit his heirs and assigns against the claim of all and every
person or persons whatever. In witness whereof the said Boling K. Bankston
hath hereunto set his hand and applied his seal the day and year first above
written.

Reuben Bankston to John Lewis

GEORGIA – Henry County

This indenture made this 3rd day of August in the year of our Lord Eighteen
Hundred and Twenty One between Reuben Bankston of the one part and state
aforesaid, and John Lewis of the same state and county aforesaid of the other
part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty dollars to
me in hand paid by the said John Lewis at or before the signing and delivering
there presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted,
bargained and sold and by these presents doth bequest, bargain and sell,
release and convey unto the said John Lewis his heirs and applying a certain
parcel of land containing fifty acres being the same more or less it being the
south east corners of Lot No. 144 in the third district of Butts County,
originally Monroe, now Butts County, to have and to hold the said lands
together with all and singular the rights members and appertaining unto the
said John Lewis, his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own people and
benefits and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Reuben Bankston for
himself his heirs expeditors and administrator shall and will warrant and will
forever defend the rights and title of said on parcel of land unto the said
John Lewis his heirs and assigns against the claims of himself and against the
claims of all other person or persons whatsoever in witnesseth whereof the said
Reuben Bankston hath hereunto set his hand and assigns his seal the day and
date above written.

Additional Comments:
Butts County was not created until December 24,1825. This would have been
Henry County at the writing of this deed.
