Entry Specifications
All entries must be works of art related to food; anything from food itself, to its growth, production, marketing, distribution and/or consumption. Eligible work includes: Paintings, Drawings, Photography, Mixed Media, Prints, Sculpture, Metalwork, and Ceramics. Entries must be the original work of the artist submitting it.Eligible Persons: Local Artists
Entry Fee: $10 (covers up to 3 submissions)
Local Artists may enter a maximum of three works. No entry may exceed 72 inches in any direction or 30 pounds in weight. All two dimensional entries must be properly framed and ready to hang. Paint must be dry. A single entry may contain no more than four component parts. Do not send your actual work of art prior to being accepted into the show.
Works CAN have prices noted if they are for sale.
Entry Instructions Submit a photo of your work.
Either create a digital image of your work in JPG format and place the digital images on a CD or print a photo of your work. Printed photos need to be at least 4x6". No slide or e-mail entries will be accepted. CDs and photos will not be returned.
For CDs, Name the digital file as follows: Last
name First initial Title of work Entry #.jpg (example: Johnson D Apple Pie 1.jpg). Label the CD with your name and the name of each entry. For printed photos, copy the entry form and attach the copy to the back of your printed photo. Do not send your actual work of art prior to being accepted into the show.
Submit the entry form, CD or print, and $10 entry fee by mail (to be received by January 19, 2010) to: HCHS Key Ingredients Art Show P.O. Box 585 Buchanan, GA 30113
Entries can also be submitted at the Buchanan-Haralson County Library by Jan 19.
Works will be judged by a panel of local residents and artists. The decision of the judges will be final. Submitting a work for judging does not guarantee that the piece will be accepted for the show.

Accepted Works Artists will be notified via email (or telephone) if their work has been accepted. Details will be in the acceptance email.
The show is planned to open with a reception on Saturday, Feb 6, 2010 and run through Saturday, February 13th, 2010. The show is tentatively planned to be held in the Sewell Mill facility, which is being renovated as an artists venue and event hall.
Prizes There will be a cash prize for one individual overall winner. We are working on corporate sponsorships for other prizes.
