Rapid, massive data export

Most of the people in Haralson County cannot get access to cheap, fast, terrestrial Internet access at their home - even if they can pay the $25+/month. Therefore, the library has worked hard to make it easy for you to use the fast connection at the library to download and take home large amounts of free, legitimate data. This is especially important with the growth of podcasting and massive copyright-free book digitization.

We offer three methods you can use:

• We let you "burn" (create) optical disks (PC #7)

• We let you use flash memory to download or upload data
  • Flash memory cards (PC #3 - PC #6)
  • Thumb drives (PC #3 - PC #8)

• Our WiFi hotspot wirelessly attaches your laptop PC to the Internet
