O'BARR, Winston Clemons was born in Hart County 8 Jan 1916. Enlisted on 3 Apr 1941 with Company A, 161st Infantry, 25th Infantry Division. Killed in action on 3 Aug 1943 on Christmas Island in the South Pacific. He was not married. Winston was the son of Leland O'Barr and his wife Leila Estelle Cobb O'Barr. Winston is buried in Reed Creek Baptist Cemetery
