GEORGIA

This Indenture made the first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty between Wilson A. Green of the county of Hancock of the one part and Albert M. Berry and William H. Sayre of the county of Hancock of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Wilson A. Green for and in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid, at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained Sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell alien, convey and confirm, unto the said Albert M. Berry and William H. Sayre their heirs and assigns ( All that lot or parcel of land - situate lying and being in the Village of Sparta in said County of Hancock, containing one and an half acres more or less, bounded on the North and East by the land of Hardy C. Culver on the South by the Baptist Church lot, and on the West by a Street recently laid out leading from the present residence of William H Sayre out by the residence of Richard S. Hardwick, called Green Street.)

To Have and to Hold the said lot or parcel of land with all & singular the rights members privileges and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said premises belonging, or in any wise appertaining with the remainder and remainders, reversion and reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof, to the only proper use benefit and behoof therein the said Albert M. Berry and William H. Sayre their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns in fee simple. And the said Wilson A. Green for himself his heirs, executors & administrators, does warrant and will forever defend the premises hereby conveyed unto the said Albert M. Berry and William H. Sayre their heirs executors, administrators and assigns, against the lawful claim of the said Wilson A. Green, his heirs executors and administrators and of all and every other person whomsoever, by virtue of these presents.

In witness whereof the said Wilson A. Green has hereto set his hand and affixed his

seal the day and year above written.
