This Indenture, made this the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and fifty four, between John J. Berry of the County & State aforesaid of the one part, and Wilson Bird of the said County & State of the other part - Witnesseth - that the said John J. Berry for & in consideration of the sum of fifteen dollars to him paid by the said Wilson Bird the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain, sell & convey unto the said Wilson Bird his heirs & assigns, all that parcel of land containing one acre more or less being the south west corner of a tract of land of 34 acres sold & conveyed by said Bird to said Berry his heirs & assigns by deed bearing date the 7th July, 1836 and being on the Milledgeville & on which said Bird has recently erected a few Log cabins.

To Have and to Hold the said parcel of land unto the said Wilson Bird his heirs & assigns with all & singular the rights members & appurtenance thereof, to the only proper use benefit & behoof of the said Wilson Bird his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. And the said John J. Berry for himself his heirs & assigns, does by these presents to the said Wilson Bird his heirs & assigns warrant & forever defend the title to the said premises, against the claim or claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof he hath here unto set his hand & affixed his seal, the day & date above written.
