Hancock County, GA, Supplement to Early Newspaper 
Abstracts "Farmer's Gazette" 1803 - 1806.

After the first volume was written, shown above, 
79 additional issues of the "Farmer's Gazette" 
were discovered at Harvard University. These 
issues were then abstracted and filled in many 
gaps for this time frame. No articles were 
repeated. Ond index which includes full personal 
names, subjects, places, and slave names.

Most of these were printed under the approval of the R.J. Taylor Jr. Foundation and all have been reviewed by Ken Thomas in the Atlanta Journal & Constitution.    

The Books are identified as follows: 

* "The Matilda Archer Story- Archer Genealogy".  This is a true Civil War story published from the 1901 writings of Matilda Archer Taylor.  I transcribed her record exactly, added an analysis and 200 more pages of genealogy on the Archer family.  This family was in the vicinity of Atlanta during the Civil War, but had migrated there from points in the Western Carolina 's.  The book is 300 pages.  Published price is $33.50     

* "The Records of the Church at Williams Creek 1787-1840", published in 1995, is a transcription and reconstruction of the minutes of this early Baptist Church to Wilkes and Warren counties in Georgia.  In addition to the published minutes which contain significant genealogy, I also gave a sketch of several families mentioned in the record.  The book is 200 pages.  Price $27.50 

 * "The Records of the Church on the Ohoopee 1792-1870", published in 2005 is the transcription and reconstruction of the minutes of this early Baptist Church in Washington County , Georgia .  In addition to the published minutes there are nearly one hundred notes and letters that accompanied the records. The book is 190 pages.  Price $25.50 

 * " Hancock County , Georgia Court of Ordinary Minutes - 1799-1817" was published in 1998.  It is a transcription of the exact court entries and contains many records dealing with estates and orphan records. All names are in bold print. Considered valuable to researchers of this early county in Georgia . The book is 250 pages. (R.J. Taylor Jr Foundation approval) Normal Price $28.50 

 * " Hancock County , Georgia Court of Ordinary Minutes -  1817-1837" was published in 1999.  It is also a transcription of the exact court entries and contains many records dealing with estates and orphan records.  All names are in bold print. * "Hancock County, Georgia Inferior Court Minutes – 1809-1833" was published in 2000.  It is a transcription of the exact court entries and contains records dealing with county administrations, such as road and bridge construction and appointments of County officials.  While few estate records are addressed, the record paints, often, a good picture as to the geographic arrangements of the different citizens and family ties are often evident. All names are in bold print.

  Washington County , Georgia Estate Records 1822-1885" was published in 2007. This court book  was saved from Sherman 's raid in 1864, because the County Clerk had the book at his home to catch up on entries.  The other County records were destroyed.  All names are in bold print.  The book is 300 pages. (R.J. Taylor Jr Foundation approval)  Price $31.50.
