1. Abraham Perry Lathem - Co. C. Cherokee Legion. He was a Lieutenant.
Filed in Milton Co. Ga. He was the son of John Lathem and Mary Burdine Lathem.
Married (1) Adeline Bashula Underwood, (2) Mary Howell.

2. David Lathem, Co. D 14th Regt. Filed in Bartow Co. Ga. Captured in Marietta, Ga. and released in 1865.

3. Andrew (changed name to Anthony) Jackson Lathem - Co. C Phillips Legion, Cavarly enlisted on 2/24/1862, surrendered at Greensboro, N.C. in April 1865.
Wife filed for pension. She stated Andrew was born 1833 in S.C. and died Jan. 18, 1913 in Cherokee Co. Ga. Filed Cherokee Co. Ga. Son of John Lathem and Mary Burdine Lathem. Married Francis Louisa Meadors

4. John H. Lathem- Co. A Cherokee Legion. Son of John Lathem and Mary Burdine Lathem, married (1) Sarah Ferrell (2) Elizabeth Margaret Unknown

5. James H. Pettit. mustered into Co. F Ga. 28th Infantry on 7/22/1861. He died in a Richmond Hospital in Richmond, Va. on 4/15/1862, He was husband of Elizabeth Jane Lathem, daughter of John Lathem and Mary Burdine Lathem.

6. Alexander Stephenson enlisted 2/25/1862 Co. C Philips Legion Cavalry Battalion. He became quite ill with chronic dysentry in late 1864 and was furloughed home from Wilson Hospital in North Carolina on 12/15/64 In her application for a confederate widow's pension his wife Mary states that he remained bedridden at home until he died on Oct. 8, 1865. She also states they were married on May 10, 1859. Filed for pension in Cherokee Co. Ga. Mary was daughter of John Farr and Permelia Lathem. Permelia is suspected to be sister to John Lathem Jr. who married Mary Burdine Lathem

7. Samuel W. Lathem Co. C. Phillips Legion Cavalry Battalion enlisted 8/2/1861. Records show he was furloughed home on 2/18/1864 and died in a train wreck on 2/27/1864 in South Carolina.
