This indenture made this sixth day March in the year One Thousand Eight-hundred and seventy one between Ishum Collins of the county of Habersham said state duly constituted administrator of John B Collins late of said county, deceased, of the first part and H G Keller of Franklin county, said state of the other part. Witnesseth, that whereas by virtue of an order granted by the Ordinary previous notice of application having been given in the Southern Banner News paper published in the town of Athens according to law in such made and provided on the first Monday in December last past to said Ishum Collins administrator aforesaid to sell a lot of land belonging to the Estate of said deceased, situated lying and being in the county of Habersham known and distinguished as Lot 113 (?) Survey of the lands belonging to the Estate of said deceased.

Aforesaid lot of land was duly advertised in conformity with the law of the same was Carnesville in the county of Franklin during the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday of February last past by said Ishum Collins Administrator as aforesaid when said lot of land was knocked off to said H G Keller at the price and sum of six dollars, said sum of six dollars, cash in hand paid to said Ishum Collins Administrator, aforesaid, by him, H G Keller at and before the sealing and delivery of these present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Said Ishum Collins, Administrator, as aforesaid, hath granted, bargained, and sold and by these present doth grant bargain and sell. So far as his office of Administrator authorizes him, unto the said H G Kellar his heirs and assigns, the said lot of land in Habersham County said state adjoining Holmes, and others, containing sixty nine acres and two rods more or less, with all the rights members and appurtenance, thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him said H G Keller his heirs, assigns in as full and simple a manner as said lot of land was seized, possessed, and surveyed by the said John B Collins, deceased, in his lifetime. In witness whereof, the said Ishum Collins, Administrator aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written.

This indenture, made this 28th day of November, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Two, between Will Collins of the county of Habersham of the first part and Sarah Holmes of the county of Habersham of the second part. Witnesseth: that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars, in hand paid on and before the sealing and delivery of these present, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these present does grant, bargain, convey unto the said party of the second part, her heirs, and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Habersham and state of Georgia in the 440th district G. M. of said county, adjoining lands of Will Collins on the south and west, Jabel Bell in the east, and A. C. Dooley on the north. Containing twenty-seven (27) acres, more or less, being a part of the old Holmes place and the distributive share of Sarah Holmes in the said Holmes Estate. To have and to hold the said bargained premises together with all and singular the rights members, and affurteuauces (sic. afferentuances) thereof, to the same being, belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of her the said party of the second part, her heirs, and assigns, forever, in fee simple. And the said part of the first part, for himself, his heirs, executives and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the right and title to the above described property unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

In witness whereof: The said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal, the day and year first above written.
