Minutes Court of Ordinary May Term 1857 Book Five Page 257

Advised by the court that an orphan child of said county three years old named Ellinder S. J. Ward daughter of Franky Ward be bound unto Lilleton Mize until she arrives at the age of eighteen unless she sooner marries he having given bond as required by law and further by special contract with this court to give to said orphan when she is 18 years old or marries one bed & furniture. The mother of said child being present in court & consenting unto.

Advised by the court than an orphan child of said county ten years old named Hester Ann Cason daughter of Mali?u Cason be bound to Abner Cason until she arrives at the age of eighteen years or until she marries he having given bond & security according the law in such case made & provided.

Advised by the court that an orphan child of said county six years old named Sandy B. Ward son of Nathan Ward of said county be bound unto Jeremiah Ward until he arrives at the age of twenty one, he having given bond security according to law in such case made & provided & the mother of said child being in court & consenting thereto.
