This Thomas is supposed to have fought in the American Revolution. He lived in Habersham County, Ga. and is found on the 1830 census. Son Adonijah D. Edwards filed for a Pension for him in 1840 in Cobb County, Ga. The courthouse records were burned by Sherman but a record of this is filed in the Georgia Room at the Cobb Co. Library. There is also the 1840 census of those filing for a pension for the Revolutionary War. He is listed simply as "Edwards, age 73".
