We are fortunate to have two
speakers this time and they wonderful volunteers from
our Society. Mrs. Dorothy A. Tuck,
"Documenting Your Family History For Future Generations
" and Mrs. Pat S. Rosser, " Signers of the Constitution".

Mrs. Dorothy
A. Tuck
Mrs. Dorothy A. Tuck was born in Pell City,
Alabama, grew up in Springfield, Ohio, and
currently lives in McDonough, Georgia. She
holds a Bachelor of Business Administration
Degree from Kent State University in Ohio,
and a Master's in Logistics Management from
Central Michigan University.
Dorothy retired from Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, where she
supervised traffic, management functions and
was the Year 2000 (Y2K) Program Manager. She
also worked at the Pentagon for the
Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Defense
for Transportation.
Her extensive genealogy experience includes
speaking engagements around the Midwest and,
with her brother, wrote three books about
her family. The two also developed and
maintain the Embry-Woods family website.
Dorothy is a member of the Genealogical
Society of Henry and Clayton Counties, Inc.
and the African-American Genealogy Group of
the Miami Valley (Ohio) |
Mrs. Pat
Sowell Rosser
Pat Rosser Sowell was born in Newton County,
Georgia.. She has been married for 54 years
to Harold Rosser of Henry County. They have
two daughters and five grandchildren.
Pat is a member of Bethany Baptist Church
where she serves as the Church Historian.
That is where she became interested in her
own genealogy. She is a member of Chapter
2411 of the Daughters of the Confederacy,
the Andrew McBride Chapter of the Daughters
of the American Revolution and an associate
members of the William McIntosh DAR. She
serves as Chaplain for both Chapter 2411 and
Andrew McBride DAR and also serves as
Constitution Chairman for the Andrew McBride
DAR. She is a member of the Genealogical
Society of Henry and Clayton Counties, Inc.
and serves as Treasurer.
