MRS. THELMA PACK
Mrs. Thelma (Coot) Pack, 64, of Warlick
Road, Fairmount, died Saturday, Dec. 19, at 11:05 a.m. at
Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, following several
weeks of declining health.
She was born in Gordon County on May 17, 1928,
daughter of the late Henry and Cleo Cagle Jenkins.
She was a devoted mother and wife and a member of the Pleasant
Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two
infant sons, Randall and Jessie Pack, and three
brothers, Seaborn, Mutt and Carl Jenkins.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde Pack
of Fairmount; a daughter, Joann Hunt of Fairmount; a
brother, Robert Jenkins of Monroe; four sisters,
Ella Mae Crider of Macon, Beatrice Cronon of
Calhoun, and Glennie Darnell and Lois Johnson,
both of Fairmount; a grandson, Kenneth Boring; a
granddaughter, Crystal Hunt; and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral was Monday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. at
Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ron
Howard and Doug Ledford officiating. Interment was
in Ryo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Cronon, Billy
Johnson, Edward Darnell, Eddie Pack, Tom Yancey and
Michael Yancey. Mrs. Sue Casey was in charge of
music.
