Location:
This Cemetery is located on Georgia State Route 70 in South
Fulton County
Recorded by Dennis Paschal in July of 1999.
For your convenience, the first listing is by location; the
second listing (below) is arranged alphabetically.
Dozens of stones like concrete block laid out in rows mark
possible graves or just mark plots. Some seem to be accompanied
by a depression which tends to indicate a grave. There are other
unmarked depressions also. They are interspersed with normal
markers and stones, but seem to be mostly concentrated in
certain areas. A note on the site marker says that many of the
pioneers here were marked only with native stone.

NOTE: Uncle Leak, through his deeds of devotion was living proof
that true love never dies. He was engaged to Lilla
LANGSTON who died in 1907, at the age of 19. He never ceased
to cherish her memory, and carried flowers to her
grave for 60 years, and was known to have dug wild violets from
the woods and transplanted them beside her grave this
year, shortly before his death at the age of 83, in keeping
with his wishes, he was buried beside his sweetheart.
