Youngblood died at the home on Route 5 one day last week, and her remains were laid to rest at Shady Grove, after funeral services conducted by Revs. Thompson and Mullinax. She is survived by her husband, several children, and a host of other relatives...

The Forsyth County News, April 24, 1924 In loving memory of our dear grandmother, Mrs. S.M. Youngblood, who departed this life September 19, 1923. She was born July 15, 1859, lived to be 65 years, two months, and five days old when the Lord said you have suffered long enough... Grandmother was taken sick in August and they took her to Gainesville to the hospital. She stayed 13 days and didn't seem to improve any and they carried her back to her home, and she lived about six weeks when the Lord called her home. Grandmother joined the Baptist church when quite young... She leaves a husband, four daughters, five boys, one daughter gone on before, 24 grandchildren, one sister, besides a host of other relatives...

BLANCHE YOUNGBLOOD
Blanche Benson Youngblood, 83, of Buford died Wednesday.
A funeral was to be held today at the chapel of Tapp Funeral Home with the Rev Charles Pirkle and Herbert Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Youngblood was a native of Forsyth County and a member of the Sugar Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Virgil Youngblood; daughter, Sarah Crider of Buford; sons, Perry and Benjamin Youngblood, both of Buford; sisters, Allene Culbertson, Winder; Marjorie Leach, Tucker; brothers, Edwin Benson, Columbia, SC; Egbert Benson, Miami, Fla; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:

		i.	Claude Mitchell. Born on 13 Aug 1920 in Forsyth Co, GA. Claude Mitchell died in St Mere E'glese, France on 16 Jun 1944, he was 23. Buried on 31 Oct 1948 in Sugar Hill Cemetery.
