N. N. Yarbrough Dies Unexpectedly, Funeral Incomplete

N. N. Yarbrough, age 79, of 111 Cherokee St., well-known Floyd Countian, died unexpectedly at 11/20 a.m. today.
�
Mr. Yarbrough was born April 20, 1878 in Floyd County, and had spent his entire life here.� He had resided at Armuchee until two years ago when he moved to Rome.� He was associated with Rome Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years, prior to his retirement.� He was a member of New Armuchee Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lizzie Kenneday, on Nov. 30, 1953

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Morrow, Mrs. W. E. Conway, and Mrs. Oscar N. Sanders, all of Rome; five sons, Edgar and J. D. (John David), of Rome, Grady of Cave Springs, Henry of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carl Yarbrough of Kingston, Rt 1; two brothers, Henry of Armuchee, and Walt Yarbrough of Lindale; three sisters, Mrs. Mont (Ida) Stansell and Mrs. Anna Crosier, both of Rome, and Mrs. Mack (Elsie) Gaddis of Americus.� Twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
