N. F. Wright Succombed to Cancer Wednesday Afternoon
Nathaniel F. Wright died Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at his home in Seney from cancer of the face and head. The dread disease finally reached his brain causing his death.
For the past 2 years he had been a sufferer from cancer and it brought untold agonies to him. He died quite peacefully, however, and said he was quite ready to meet his Master. The deceased was for long years a resident of this city where he raised a large family. He was a painter by trade and respected by all who knew him.
His children are Mrs Langston, Mrs Burnette, Mrs Hallett, of Atlanta, Mrs Haire, Mrs Alexander of Rome, Mrs Will Whitfield, of Birmingham. His sons are Charles Wright, for years a type machine operator in the big New York offices, but now in Atlanta, John Wright of Cedartown, and Henry Wright of Birmingham. His second wife survives him.
The remains were brought to Rome yesterday and interred on Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The old settlers are passing away swiftly.
