Funeral services for Mrs. Callie Donia Wingard, 93, of 302 Church St., who died in a Rome convalescent home Monday morning, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the North Rome Methodist Church with the Rev. Wingard Services Set For Wednesday
Interment will be in Lindale Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the residence of a granddaughter, Mrs. Paul Beam, with whom she resided at 302 Church St., until the funeral hour.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. They are Arvil and Hoyt Branton, Rufus, Sproul and Roy Nichols and Marion Mathis. Honorary pallbearers include Charlie Wade, Dr. Tom Moss, Sr. Hubert Smith, Raymond Kines and Otis Siniard.
Mrs. Wingard had been a resident of Bartow County about 30 years ago and resided in the Spring Creek community for several years, later moving to Rome, where she had resided for 25 years. She was a member of North Rome Methodist Church. Her husband, Will Wingard died a number of years ago. Jennings Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
