Mr. Weatherby had been ill little more than a week and his condition became serious only three days ago. He was born and raised in Floyd
County and had lived here all his life.
Besides his widow, the former Miss Julie Acray, he is survived by a son, Henry; a daughter, Hazel; three brothers, Albert Weatherby of
Ft. Benning, Ralph and Henry Weatherby of Kingston; and a sister, Mrs. Marion Hindon of Cave Spring.
The final rites will be conducted by the Rev. S.H. Pendley and interment will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. The following
friends will serve as pallbearers:W.L. Looney, Tom Hanks, John Dowdy, Clyde Sprayberry, Seymour Trapp, and Robert Times.
