Mrs. Louise Deems Waits, of Silver Creek, passed away Saturday, February 14, 1998 at her residence. Mrs. Waits was born
September 4, in Bartow County. She was a retired Intergreated Products employee and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in
death by her parents, Water Lee and Minnie Alice Highfield Deems. Survivors include her husband, Earnest L. Waits of Silver
Creek; a daughter, Betty J. Reynolds of Silver Creek; a son, Bobby Lamar Waits of Riverside, Calif.; two brothers Hershel
Deems of Chickamauga, and Walter Lee Deems of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister Christine Marques of Denver, Colo.; three
grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and the great great grandchildren. Funeral service was held Tuesday, February 17,
1998 at 11 a.m. from Bellview Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Robinson officiating. Interment followed in Aragon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Marvin D. Reynolds, Joseph Marques, James D. Deems, Ernie Smith, Bob Dan Smith, and James Hovers. Freeman
Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
