Mrs. Smith
Mrs. Lottie D. Smith, 99, 306 North Ave., died at 6:55 a.m. today in a Rome nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Smith was born in Bartow County, December 8, 1881, but resided most of her life in Floyd County. She was a member of Wesley Southern Methodist Church. Her husband, W.A. Smith, died January 31, 1940.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lottie B. Inman, Rome, eight grand-children, a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the Heritage Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. H. Emmett Hutto officiating.
Interment will be in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Scott Smith, Greg Fricks, Rob Fricks, Warren Penny, Mark Mathis and Mike Mathis.
