Robert L. Runion
Robert L. Runion Died Home Sister Near Coosa Sunday
Robert L. Runion, age 54, died Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mattie E. McCurry, near Coosa. He had been in ill health for about 2 years.
The funeral was conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Pisgah church. \par
Arrangements by W. b. Nichols & Son, morticians.
Mr. Runion had been a resident of Rome for 30 years and had a number of friends here. Besides his sister, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret E. Runion.\par
Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Dr. John H. Wood, pastor of First Christian church, conducted the services.
Mr. Runion was a well-known piano tuner. He had been connected with McBrayer Brothers Company for several years.
W. B. Nichols & Son, morticians, had charge of arrangements.
The following friends acted as pallbearers: Blanton Fisher, W. T. McCarver, Fred Salmon, Charlie Walker, Tom Duncan and Green Moore.
(Note: his death certificate said he was born Dec. 11, 1871 in GA.)
